This is a report on film of a trip made to the Soviet Union in the spring of 1962 by a group of American college students from such institutions as Stanford, Yale, Radcliffe, and Dartmouth. From the latter were David Langum '62 and Howard Weinberg '62. Mr. Weinberg photographed this film as his first attempt and was aided in finishing it by the Dartmouth Film Society, Dartmouth College Films, and Balir Watson. It has been made available to interest other students in the educational value of trips and studies abroad, to inform the general public about study in other lands, and to indicate how cooperative effort can produce a film of this sort. The timeliness and the student viewpoint combined make this subject intriguing as well as important. Running time: 27 min.
