Introduction to the Collection

The oral history interview of E. John Rosenwald, Jr. is comprised of audiocassette and digital recordings and a transcript of the recordings. The interview was conducted by Mary Donin on January 15, 2008. The entire interview runs for approximately ninety minutes and covers his undergraduate years at Dartmouth and his service as a trustee and as chair of the board during the administration of James O. Freedman.

Biography

E. John Rosenwald, Jr. Dartmouth Class of 1952, Tuck '53, was a member of the board of trustees from 1986 to 19969, and chaired the board from 1993 to 1996. He was awarded an honorary doctor of laws degree in 2002.
