Introduction to the Collection

The oral history interview of Judith S. White is comprised of audiocassette and digital recordings and a transcript of the recordings. The interview was conducted by Mary Donin on July 18, 208. The entire interview runs for approximately 90 minutes and covers the early years of the Women's Resource Center and her work supporting women faculty,staff and students.

Biography

Judith S. White served as the first director of the Women's Resource Center from 1988 until 1990 when she became assistant dean of the faculty of arts and sciences. Dr. White left Dartmouth in 1993 to serve as special assistant to the president of Duke University, Nannerl O. Keohane.
