INTRODUCTION

The papers of Alexander Kinnan Laing, author and professor, who graduated from Dartmouth College as a member of the class of 1925, were gifts from him to the Dartmouth College Library throughout his long association with it.

Concerned primarily with his writings, this material also covers his Dartmouth College activities as Assistant Librarian and Educational Services Adviser as well as his political activities.
