Abstract:

Llewellyn Sherman Adams (1899-1986), governor of New Hampshire and assistant to President Eisenhower. Dartmouth College Class of 1920. The papers contain official documents, speeches and speech notes, transcripts of radio and television broadcasts, copies of White House press releases, personal correspondence, scrapbooks, photographs, awards, citations and mementos, several drafts of "First-Hand Report," private memoranda, records of telephone conversations, and handwritten notes by Mr. Adams on meetings and conversations with President Eisenhower, members of the Cabinet, and legislative leaders.
