Contains articles and extensive handwritten notes on the biographies of people presumably described in articles he later wrote. Also included are documents issued by the U.S. Department of Justice and other governmental agencies regarding these people. Of note is an illustrated description of Jackie Kennedy's wardrobe for a three-day visit to France, designed by Oleg Cassani, one of the people he studied.

Includes typescript drafts of Brower's writings, as well as several bound early editions, and an unbound early edition of "Debris," programs to the "Bread Loaf Writers' Conference" he attended for several years, and annual editions of the "Postmaster", a publication of Oxford University. Also contains a copy of the "Greensleeves" alumni issue (a Dartmouth publication) to which Brower contributed.

Contains correspondence regarding Brower's articles, typescript copies of articles accompanied by research material (including photocopies of newspaper articles and released government intelligence documents), and published versions of these articles, several copies of the journal "Judicature," several copies of a speech given by Dick Thornburgh, U.S. Attorney General, and a binder put together during Brower's time as a speechwriter for Thornburgh containing relevant political articles.

Contains typescript drafts of articles written by Brower, as well as photocopies and news prints of the published versions, including the transcript and published version of an interview Brower did with Senator Bill Bradley, correspondence to and from editors, and handwritten notes on the people the articles cover, including political names such as George Bush and Ronald Reagan.

Contains typewritten drafts of Brower's articles, photocopies of the published versions, a "Guidebook to Diplomatic Reception Rooms" produced by the Department of State, "Report of the Independent Counsel In Re Vincent W. Foster, Jr.," information regarding health concerns, and newspaper clippings and handwritten notes on the people his articles cover. Of note are edited drafts of a piece "Lost in the Treasure Room," that Brower wrote about Rauner Special Collections Library, and correspondence with Dartmouth representatives requesting his work and editing his writing.

Contains correspondence and manuscripts related to the publication of the novellas 'Blue Dog,' 'Green River' and 'Running to Catch Rain.' Also contains television scripts, family photographs, material related to a 2006 conference on Artificial Intelligence at Dartmouth, and a VHS tape of Brower discussing Ted Kennedy and Chappaquidick.
