Contains 7 baseballs with autographed game day info. including scores, line ups and location. Also includes one certificate of membership in the "Ancient and Honorable Society of Latter Day Letter Men of Dartmouth College" signed by John Sloane Dickey; two baseball magazines from 1930 and 1941; Hollstrom's player identification card for the National Semi-pro Baseball Championship in 1940 and a clipping of a picture of Hollstrom in his baseball uniform at Dartmouth.

Biography

Gunnar E. Hollstrom (1908-1984), Dartmouth College class of 1930. Thayer School of Engineering, 1931. Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Manager at Norton Co. in Worcester, MA. Hollstrom was a noted pitcher for Dartmouth and went on to play for Connie Mack's Philadelphia Athletics in 1931. Hollstrom continued to be involved with baseball as a player and manager for the Norton team in Worcester.
