Introduction

George Howard Richardson was born on April 3, 1893, in Bethlehem, NH. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1914, and in 1933, became a land surveyor in Littleton, NH. He served as selectman and trustee of the Littleton Library for 25 years and was the Grafton County auditor. He was also active in the Democratic party. George Richardson died in Littleton at the age of 86 in 1979.

William Isaac Richardson was born on July 16, 1867, in Littleton, NH. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1888, after which he became a civil engineer and timber cruiser. He served as selectman in Littleton, and was one of the community's representatives to the General Court at Concord. William Richardson died in 1944, at the age of 77 in Littleton, NH.

Ray Timothy Gile was born on May 27, 1852, in Littleton, NH. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1877, after which he did post graduate civil engineering work at the Thayer School. His professional career included surveying work in settling the boundary between New Hampshire and Massachusetts during 1891-1901. He also laid out the state park in Crawford Notch and surveyed the Bretton Woods estate. Ray T. Gile died on January 3, 1939, in Littleton, NH.

Chester Abbott was born on October 13, 1851 in Bath, NH. He died on January 19, 1923.
