Richardson, Ray T. Gile, Chester Abbott and Percy E. Smith. Working primarily in Coos and Grafton County in New Hampshire, these surveyors contributed to the more than 3000 survey plat maps and profiles of properties, including properties in the White Mountains such as the Mt. Washington Observatory and the Mt. Pleasant Hotel, which are at the core of this collection. Towns surveyed include Littleton, Lisbon, Franconia, Carroll, Dalton, Haverhill, Sugar Hill and Bethlehem. Papers related to George Richardson's son, Roger, his naval career as well as material on John Wilcox Brown's 1974 campaign for NH state senator are also included.
