The Wesley A. Hunt collection contains diaries chronicling his life in Charlestown, NH, including farming, working on the railroad, church and school life. Of particular interest is the period when Hunt was homesteading in the Dakota Territory in 1883. The collection also contains typescript transcripts of the diaries by Emma A. Hunt, as well as the book "Roots and Branches of the Hunt-Fifield-Bailey Family and the Time in which They Lived, 1630-1980," by Emma A. Hunt, Erling Messer Hunt and Virginia Hunt Moulton.
