The papers of John Mudge contain reports, correspondence, clippings and brochures related to the study of and opposition to the proposed development of a Parsons and Whittemore Pulp Mill in the Upper Valley. White papers and data collected by the students of the Environmental Studies 50 class at Dartmouth College are also included.

Biography

John Mudge, Lyme resident and activist. Led the campaign against Parsons and Whittemore to build a Pulp Mill in the Upper Valley.
