Contains original correspondence, photocopies of correspondence, a piece of his last will and testament. Of note in the collection is a hand-bound volume of letters addressed to Crosby concerning medical school and family matters.

Biography

Dixi Crosby, born 1800, died 1873, Doctor and Professor of Surgery. Studied at the Medical School of Dartmouth, and received his degree in 1824. He received the degree of LL.D.from Dartmouth in 1867.
