Consists of note related to the execution of the will of John Buell (Junsonequin) upon Buell's death, as well as a 1805 map of Connecticut by Mathew Carey(Housed with 745362 Buell's last will and testament).

Biography

John Buell (Indian name Junsonequin)was a Mohegan Indian who was "bound on an expedition to Cape Breton." In July of 1745 Buell became part of Captain Adonijah Fitch's company in King George's War. He was among the many members of the Mohegan tribe to join the English in the French and Indian wars.
