Papers



One of 2 Dartmouth students to participate in a summer study in Greenland under geology Professor Charles Henry Hitchcock. Sailed on Steam Whaler Hope, in 1897, along with Lt. Peary and with Russell Porter. The Dartmouth group studied the ice sheet covering Greenland and the ancient dwellings of the Norse men. Stickney graduated from Dartmouth in 1900, M. D. in 1903.
