Introduction to the Collection

The oral history interview of Susan G. Dentzer is comprised of audiocassette and digital recordings and a transcript of the recordings. The interview was conducted by Mary Donin on February 28, 2008. The entire interview runs for approximately two hours and covers her undergraduate years at Dartmouth as well as her service as a trustee of the College and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.


Susan G. Dentzer '77 served on the College's board of trustees from 1993 to June 2004 and was the first woman to serve as chair of Dartmouth's board from 2001 to 2004. She is also a former trustee of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and is an overseer of Dartmouth Medical School.
