Includes correspondence, speeches, diaries, photographs, scrapbooks and other material related to his activities as mayor of Newton, Ma., as a member of the Republican Party, as a United States senator, and as Secretary of Commerce in the Eisenhower Administration. Papers related to his business career and his work at Barton Reed and United-Carr Fastener Corporation, as well as financial papers and personal letters are also included. Correspondents include Sherman Adams, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John Wingate Weeks, Richard Nixon, Wendell Willkie and Herbert Hoover.
