Introduction to the Collection

Contains 19 letters from James Wren written to his parents in Missouri during his World War II service. Four letters are from Wren's time at Dartmouth College as a Navy V-12 student. Also included are two photographs of Iwo Jima from sea during the U.S. invasion.
