Agnes Donald Gordon, missionary. Born 1853. M. Lafayette Gordon, physician, medical missionary, professor of Theology. Born 1843. The papers of Agnes and M. Lafayette Gordon contain personal and professional correspondence, financial and legal papers, address books, writings, a diary, notebooks, pamphlets, and clippings documenting the Gordon's missionary work and life in both Japan for the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, and in Massachusetts, and M. Lafayette Gordon's professorship at Doshisha University. M. Lafayette Gordon died in 1900. Agnes Gordon Died in 1940.
